Rss Feeds...........
Several years ago when I was in Syracuse getting my masters in library science we had took a class called Choosing Web 2 . 0 Tools for Learning and teaching in a Digital World. Here I had my first encounter with RSS feeds. At that time I opened a Google Reader account. I just tried to access that tool, but it no longer exists!
I went to Netvibes and opened an account. It was fairly easy to do, here I started to revamp the page by deleting feeds I would not use. I also added feeds I would use such as ALA and the New York Public Library. I would have to say t he thing I like about RSS feeds is the capability to see whats going on with several sites at one time. I am not sure how often I will use RSS feeds, or how to use this in my library. I like the idea of logging into one spot and then reading what is new on my favorite sites on one page...........
