Podcasting and Screencasting.
Here is yet another new concept for me to learn how to use! After reading through the introduction of these tools, I decided to open an account on audioBoom. As I was exploring the web tool I came across the section titled audionBoom for Education. I was very impressed with the usage of this tool in classrooms ranging from lower elementary to high school students. I love their catch phrase “ Giving Students a Voice!” It is a highly engaging tool!
This tool can be used in so many ways with students of all ages. I can see me using this toll with my elementary students and high school students as well. They can record their Author’s Tea party, to reciting poetry. It can be used for any research project or a debate with high school students. The possibilities are really endless. I can use this for a flipped classroom lesson, or to get info out to my parents or colleagues about the book fair, how about a quick book talk, etc. I love this tool, I will have to play with it a lot and learn all the ins and outs……..
I have included a short podcasting that I created on audioBoom.
